Hi, I’m Ben ‘Pen’ Jones, a Caricaturist and Illustrator based in Birmingham, UK.
I draw caricatures, cartoons and illustrations for a range of occasions, including birthdays, special days and weddings. My drawings make the perfect keepsake.

I’m a Wildlife Illustrator by training, but I also have children’s entertainment, working in education and the co-running of charities in my professional background.
A lifelong scribbler with a love of drawing and animals, I completed a degree in Scientific and Natural History Illustration at Blackpool and the Fylde College, after which I soon took to the streets of London to try my hand at being a street caricaturist.
I quickly graduated to weddings and other events and I found this blended well with my gregarious nature. I loved it and so stuck with it.
Ten years later I’ve added mural painting, art workshops, visual recording, logos and album art, book illustration, 77 consecutive horse portraits and all manner of other wacky commissions as notches in my art post.
I’m always excited by what new work is just over the horizon and I take inspiration from everywhere, so whatever happens next, I say bring it on!
