To kickstart a new series of caricature prints I’m releasing, entitled ‘Icons’, here is the first; the inimitable Iggy Pop!
I decided to present this one through the medium of Tiktok, old though I am, and I’m aided by my trusty puppet friend Dr Wormberg PhD.
With the hair of a shipwrecked surfer, the body of a sun-bleached hobo, a face like the grand canyon and the eyes of a beautiful camel,
Iggy Pop’s visage is one that a caricaturist can certainly have a lot of fun with. The Icons series will be drawn in mad and fun colours, and Iggy here is blue-skinned and blonde against a bright pink background.
